Georgia Foam/Mid-Atlantic Foam: The Beginning of Quality
In 1969, Georgia Foam, Incorporated opened their doors in Gainesville, Georgia as a manufacturer of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), filling north Georgia's need for foam used for flotation and poultry house insulation. Since then, Georgia Foam has grown into a leading manufacturer and supplier of EPS products and accessories for a diverse number of applications both domestic and international.
Decades of Growth
As our product base expanded, our service area followed, necessitating the need for an additional location. In 1980, Mid-Atlantic Foam opened in Fredericksburg, Virginia, to fill the needs of the northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.
While Georgia Foam/Mid-Atlantic Foam continues to provide EPS for packaging applications, the production, distribution, and support of products utilized by construction professionals has been our main focus. Our products have supported the commercial roofing and Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) industries for decades, and our foray into Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) in the 90s helped establish the company as an innovative leader able to meet the ever changing needs of the construction industry. This innovation extended to other industries as indicated with the addition of GeoFoam to our product line.
Since inception, both Georgia Foam/Mid-Atlantic Foam have strived to offer quality, competitively priced products supported by exceptional service aimed at building long-term customer relationships. Our success in these goals is evident in our expanded service area. We now serve customers in the eastern half of the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean.
